With a multitude of rivers offer some of the best and most exciting rafting in the area – local ones include the Sava River in Gorenjska in Bohinj, the Sobec camping ground near Bled and especially the Soca River in Bovec, Primorska. Famed as one of the best kayaking and white water rafting rivers in Europe, the Soca River has many, many trips and excursions running on it regularly. In the spring it is really only suitable for adults but in the summer when the water is a little calmer, any child of 10 and above will be okay. Check locally for height and age restrictions.
